"On March 24, 2023, the Puente students from Cañada College enjoyed a 90-minute walking mural tour in the Mission District of San Francisco. Patricia Rose, one of the muralists that works with Precita Eyes, led the Puente students through her beautiful sunny neighborhood and shared the history of the community and its murals. Patricia told the community’s stories with grace and love and honored all of the muralists with her in-depth interpretations of their work. It was a real privilege to see the rich history of muralismo in the Mission District and to learn from an incredibly knowledgeable resident and muralist.
